History

The history of air-conditioning production in Dolním Bousove dates back to 1947 when a locksmithing company with 6 employees, owned by the Ottomanskýs brothers, started air-conditioning equipment production. First, their company cooperated with the Pragofera Strašnice company, Prague, on production of certain types of ventilating fans and ceiling heating sets. The company’s first solo order involved production of several large-size ventilating fans for the Kolben & Danek Praha Company which mounted those fans in its equipment abroad.. Another order came from Radiopalace in Prague. Thanks to these orders the Bousov company achieved a good start and gained itself a good reputation, as well as new orders whose number increased steeply.

Production moved from the original small workshop into larger production premises where the company has maintained its seat up until now. Gradually, new production sites were built – a locksmithing shop and tinsmithing shop. The company’s own turning shop and tool shop have been fully equipped as well. Complete supplies of air-conditioning systems prepared by the company’s own projection and designing departments began to be implemented.

As time progressed, the company changed its name and its association with various superior companies. However, air-conditioning production takes a successful course of development. In 1992, during the course of privatization, the company was transformed into a limited liability company named Proclima-Svamp Dolni Bousov.

The production assortment mainly involves production and supply of complete air-conditioning equipment. The company also manufactures and distributes individual products such as transport ventilating fans with accessories, separators, exhausters with filters and accessories, air-conditioning units, air washers, square-shaped and round piping, a wide range of piping accessories such as: outlets, grates, anemostates, grease separators, reassembled branch pieces, regulating flaps, rain-protecting blinds, air heaters and many other parts.
